A glasstall and thin wisps of smoke riseabove. The color ofpolished rubiesfills to thebrim allbut one. Standing tall,alone, and empty. It waitsdust settlesencircling,encasingin memory. Still it waitsno longer clearbut rathergrayed by time. It’s longingit won’tstopwaiting. It will wait,whether timeitself encasesit in foreverdarkness. The magic within,endures.
